This project has been a long time in the making, born from my own personal experiences and the realisation of a glaring need for a comprehensive resource in Tasmania's whisky scene.

Having immersed myself in the whisky industry, after relocating to Tasmania to work at Sullivans Cove Distillery, I discovered a treasure trove of knowledge within the industry and a genuine passion for the craft. This unique opportunity allowed me to delve deep into the industry, expanding my understanding of both Sullivans Cove and the wider industry itself.However, as I engaged with numerous visitors to Tasmania, it became increasingly clear that information about the industry and its distilleries was scattered and not easily accessible for visitors.

The need for a centralised, curated platform became glaringly apparent. After leaving Sullivans Cove and starting a Hobart based design studio, i had the opportunity to focus on the industry as a whole. Enter The Tasmanian Whisky Guide.
